How? Remote booking via the Feltham and Bedfont PCN Hub unit. Clinics listed as:
“Hip and Knee OA Education Programme”
Who should be booked? Patients with hip and knee OA who you would normally refer to MSK, where the current waiting time is 10-12 weeks.
Why?
- Faster access to specialist-led education sessions with minimal wait time.
- Led by the expert FCP team – providing practical advice and answering patient questions.
- Improves patient knowledge and self-management of their condition.
- Resources provided, including MSK self-referral forms, to avoid unnecessary GP appointments.
